WING TSUN KUNG FU & SELF DEFENSE

Our goal is to provide our students with the best quality of instruction in Kung Fu, Personal Safety, and Self-Defense training. Our discipline is a system of self-defense that originated in Southern China called Wing Tsun (pronounced Wing Chun). Wing Tsun is known for it’s direct and efficient movements and the ability to blend and adapt to the movements of the attacker.

Wing Tsun is ideal for the average adolescent and adult male or female because it is easy to learn. The movements do not  require speed, extreme limberness, or the strength and stamina of an athlete.

The majority of the techniques of Wing Tsun are applied with the arms in the form of punches, palms, chops, and elbows. The legs are initially used for movement and positioning. Once adequate balance has been learned, low kicking techniques are then introduced.

In addition to learning self-defense, some other important benefits of learning Wing Tsun are that you will gain self confidence, you will become more physically fit and healthy, you will improve your balance and coordination skills, you will improve your posture and flexibility, you will become more aware of your body and what it can do, you will become more aware of your environment and surroundings, and you will have fun.

We are not a commercial school. We don't make you sign a contract. All classes are held in small groups at the instructors home or occasionally at a park in south Austin. The small group ensures that each student gets individual attention and correction in order to maximize and enhance the learning experience. All classes are taught with utmost safety in mind and we ask that the class rules and dress code be strictly adhered to.

I am currently accepting a limited amount of students. Serious inquiries only please. Come try 2 weeks for free to find out if Wing Tsun is right for you. Please call Robert at the number below for more information and to schedule an appointment.
